Help us build our collection

We always love to add more zines to our collections, particularly in areas of gender and sexuality, and race and ethnicity. We believe in paying artists and creators for their work, so feel free to send us a suggestion or let us know about your zine! We are happy to purchase materials for our collections. We also welcome donations!

We Believe in Paying for Zines!

Following the Zine Librarians Code of Ethics, we carefully consider the ethics of collecting, and follow these guidelines:

  1. Purchasing directly from the author or publisher - YES!
  2. Purchasing from a zine distributor (distro) - YES
  3. Receiving donations from the author or publisher - SURE
  4. Receiving donations from third parties. - PROCEED WITH CAUTION
  5. Creating unauthorized copies - NOPE!
