Faculty and Staff Resources at Belk Library

The Belk Library Liaison program exists to build relationships between the library and academic disciplines and departments on campus.  Librarians are assigned to specific departments and interdisciplinary programs.

We collaborate with faculty and staff to:

• Facilitate collection building – both adding to the collection and weeding
• Assist in the management of the department’s library budget
• Collaborate with faculty members on their research
• Promote new library resources
• Offer library instruction
• Assist with students’ research
• Orient new faculty to library resources and services
