Electronic copies of the typed transcriptions for each W.W. Staley presidential letter book. he original presidential letter books have been cataloged and can be found in the Belk Library Archives and Special Collections. Unfortunately the letter books are too fragile to scan and provide digitally. Letters are from 1894-1913.

Includes two record books from the O’Kelly Chapel in Chatham County, North Carolina. The O'Kelly Chapel was built in 1794 in Chatham County, NC. James O’Kelly and his followers built the chapel following their separation from the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1792. The Chapel is recognized as the first congregation of the ‘Christian Churches’, which came together in 1856 as the Southern Christian Convention. Currently, its association is with the United Church of Christ. The original record books have been cataloged and can be found in the Belk Library Archives and Special Collections.

An eighteenth century manuscript missal that is housed in the Belk Library Archives and Special Collections. The missal is an excellent example of a hand-made and hand-written liturgical book from northern Spain.

A weekly periodical issued between 1844 and 1965 by the Southern Convention of Christian Churches, a part of the General Convention of Christian Churches. This larger group merged with other denominations to become the Congregational Christian Church in 1931, and the United Church of Christ in 1957. The paper is focused on the activities of these groups in North Carolina and Virginia.

This collection includes documents and material pertaining to Alamance County, North Carolina from 1876 to present day.

The collection contains both personal and professional records related to the May family, who owned and operated textile mills in Burlington, NC during the 20th century. Papers include personal correspondence, genealogical information, family photographs, legal records (such as deeds, estate records, military and pension records, and others), and business records and ephemeral related to the May textile business (including the May Hosiery Company).

The Robert L. Sigmon digital collection includes various documents related to service and experiential learning that Robert L. Sigmon compiled and authored throughout his career. The content includes essays, speeches, questionnaires, and data collected from his time at the North Carolina Internship Office, the University of South Carolina and in his various service-learning endeavors. The collection spans from the beginning of Sigmon's career in the 1960's to the early 2000's.

This collection is composed largely of textual materials documenting the Wilmington 10 from the office of Southern Conference of the United Church of Christ in Burlington, North Carolina. It is arranged alphabetically by type of material into six series, then chronologically within each series, where applicable. The series are: Correspondence; Financial Documents; Legal Documents; Literary Productions; Minutes; Printed Material. These materials range in date from 1971 to 1998, with the bulk of the collection dating from 1972 to 1978.
