What is the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning?
The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) encourages the reframing of classroom work (teaching a course, learning about a topic) as research. This investigation of "questions related to student learning" helps faculty and students teach, learn, and advance together (Hutchings & Schulman, 1999). Learn more on CATL's website.
