- Being...German: A Language PrimerShot on location in Berlin, this program follows local children as they learn bike safety, visit a market stall, cook a meal, and play soccer. A great learning tool that mixes fun, facts, and real-world situations to reinforce language comprehension.
- Deutsche Welle Language Learning ResourcesDW is the global German news outlet, and includes an educational section with several online videos at different levels.
- Easy GermanA YouTube channel of language learning videos for all levels.
- Coffee Break GermanFree podcasts to help you learn conversation and vocabulary.
Watch German movies and more
Watching movies is another great way to listen to the language and learn about the culture. You might already have access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, or other personal streaming services. But Elon also provides access to some German films online!
- Watch German films free on TubiTubi is a free movie and TV streaming service. It can be free because there are unskippable ads. But they have a great selection of new films as well as some older classics.
- Yuyu movies from GermanyAnotther free online streaming site. You may also select other German speaking countries (like Austria) using the menu at the left. Some films require a subscription.
- Dr. Lange's German music playlistA collection of German songs and videos put together by Dr. Kristin Lange.
