Off-campus access
The first time you click on a link for one of our databases, online journals or eBooks, you will be asked to log in with
your Elon username and password. This is the same login information you use for email and Moodle. Example of the login screen.
You can use multiple databases and online journals without having to log in for each resource.
You will not be asked to log in again unless you close the browser.

Belk Library has some great spaces to get work done. We invite you to come and study with us. Tap your Phoenix Card on the card swipe box next to the door to your right to enter the library after hours.
What are the Hours for Belk Library?
Are Study Rooms available?
- Individual and group study rooms available all hours the library is open; first come, first served
- 2 multimedia studios, for producing and working on your multimedia texts; both rooms include a MAC with full Adobe Suite installed for your multimedia projects; reservable
- 1 presentation practice room, for recording and critiquing yourself give a presentation and working on your visuals – bring a USB drive, plug it in and begin recording to your personal device; reservable
- Some rooms have large monitors (for your laptops)
- Study rooms have whiteboard walls and flexible furniture
Can I borrow laptops and headphones?
Absolutely. Headphones are available during all hours, and laptops can be borrowed, along with many other types of equipment, from Media Services which is located in the Library.
What about Printing in the Library?
Can you bring Food and Drink to the Library?
There are no restrictions about food in the Library. Recycle bins are available. We have coffee and soft drinks, so remember to bring your Phoenix Card for purchases.
