Elon's Writing Center offers appointments both online and in-person, for individuals or for groups. They can help in understanding an assignment, as well as brainstorming, writing a draft, revising, editing, and putting together a source list.

The Writing Center is located on the first floor of Belk Library.

Citation managers help you collect, organize, annotate, and cite your sources.

Belk Library supports Zotero, but there are many others: Mendeley, EndNote, Papers, JabRef, and more.

To get started with Zotero:

1. Download Zotero. You will probably want both Zotero 6 (or subsequent versions) and the Zotero Connector (for whichever browser you prefer).
   1. For Mac Users: the Connector no longer works with Safari. Try using Firefox or Chrome instead.
2. Register for a free account. While not required, this lets you sync your library across devices, collaborate, and share with others.
3. Add items to your Zotero library.
4. Use it to generate citations and bibliographies as you write.
