- Google ScholarGoogle Scholar provides a way to search most of Elon's databases for scholarly literature/peer-reviewed research studies. It search across many disciplines and sources.
- JSTOR This link opens in a new windowJSTOR is a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources. Coverage includes history, economics, political science, demography, mathematics, humanities and social sciences. Some current issues are available now.
- CQ Researcher & Archives This link opens in a new windowEach single-themed report is researched and written by a seasoned journalist, footnoted and professionally fact checked. Belk Library subscribes to more than 300 databases that contain articles on many subjects. Using a database is a smart way to start your article search since you can search many sources at one time. The database that you choose depends on what you're looking for.
If you're just starting your research, then searching a general database such as those listed below is a good approach. These databases contain journal, magazine, newspaper, and trade publications on a wide range of subjects.
