About Supply Chains & Channels

Companies are not required to provide information on their supply chains or retail channels.

You can often synthesize this information from a variety of sources including:

  • Company 10-K (annual) reports or company webside under sections like Sustainability
  • Articles in business-related article databases like Business Source Complete or ABI/Inform Complete (use words like supplier, supply chains, or logistics)
  • A profile of the industry often yields hints about supply chains.  See IBISWorld Products & Markets section
(reminder: these are industry supply chains, not those of individual companies)
  • Retail Channel sections in Mintel can offer helpful insight
