This is a guide to resources for Elon University students and faculty preparing for studying and teaching abroad. It includes pages for the Study Abroad Centers in Costa Rica, Italy, and the United Kingdom.

There are online guides for APA, MLA, Chicago/Turabian and others.

Belk Library has foreign language resources both online and in print.

Complete the Online Interlibrary loan (ILL) form.

• The following items may be requested: circulating books, DVD's, VHS tapes, CDs, book chapters, and articles.
• Please be aware: while there is no charge from Belk Library for this service, an international customs tariff charge may be added when the package is picked up.
• Returnable items will be mailed to you. A postage paid return label will be included.
• Book chapters and articles will be scanned and sent to you via email.
• Due to U.S. copyright law, we cannot copy entire books.
• We cannot send audiobooks, or reference books.
• We cannot send books and materials from other libraries.

 You may also request journal articles and book chapters that are not in Belk Library by completing the Online Interlibrary loan (ILL) form.

• Book chapters and articles will be scanned and sent to you via email.
• Please fill out the online ILL form completely.
• Include the complete citation (author, title, pages, issue, date, etc.).
• State in the comments section that you are studying abroad.
• Provide your complete contact information, including mailing address, email address, and fax number, if unable to receive email.
