On this guide you'll find information resources, such as:

  • suggested databases for finding research articles
  • books/e-books, videos, and other media from the library on specific topics
  • background info to help you learn about a topic when you start your research

This guide also suggests style guides and tools like Zotero to help you cite and manage the sources you use in your research. Let me know if you have questions or need help with research - you can send me an email or schedule an appointment using the buttons in the box on the left-hand side of the page.

ANATOMY at Elon

Elon Biodiversity Project

The Biology Department is excited to announce the start of a long-running project to catalog the biodiversity of Elon campus including Elon Forest! With the help of the iNaturalist app everyone on campus can participate - you do not need to be an expert! As long as you take the picture on a GPS-enabled phone the identifications will be taken care of for you and the location will automatically be mapped. See https://elonbioresearch.wordpress.com/biodiversity-of-elon…/ for an overview of the technology involved (courtesy of iNaturalist) and tips on how you can help using their free software.

After you've read our page be sure to go directly to the project site at https://www.inaturalist.org/…/elon-university-campus-biodiv… and start learning about the amazing biodiversity on campus!
