Elon Biodiversity Project

The Biology Department is excited to announce the start of a long-running project to catalog the biodiversity of Elon campus including Elon Forest! With the help of the iNaturalist app everyone on campus can participate - you do not need to be an expert! As long as you take the picture on a GPS-enabled phone the identifications will be taken care of for you and the location will automatically be mapped. See…/ for an overview of the technology involved (courtesy of iNaturalist) and tips on how you can help using their free software.

After you've read our page be sure to go directly to the project site at…/elon-university-campus-biodiv… and start learning about the amazing biodiversity on campus!
